Hank Parchell:

11:45 PM:  By agreement we are leaving this area tonight. We feel it's too dangerous to remain here. After 8:30 we were hit by rocks, and limbs. Bill is OK but got a nasty cut on his shoulder. Old Yeller is missing and we presume is running down the road towards Cole's truck, we hope.

He was outside with Bill when the rocks came in. Cole has bruised his ankle some. We will come back into the camp at daybreak. We have broken glass in the rear of the trailer. Our antenna is down. We never saw what hit us and we feel it unsafe to remain the night. Strong stink in the air still. Will write more in the daylight. We are now about 3 miles away from camp. Will stay at Daphne Grove tonight some 10 miles from here in my camper.
